Are you nobody too?

The title of today's post was inspired by a Dickinson poem that my English teacher said pretty much sums up high school for a lot of people. It definitely resonated with me, but instead of feeling a "woe is me" sensation, I feel really empowered by the poem.

I'm nobody! Who are you?

Are you nobody, too?

Then there's a pair of us -don't tell!

They'd banish us, you know.

How dreary to be somebody!

How public, like a frog

To tell your name the livelong day

To an admiring bog!

Anyways, the outfit! Lately I've been trying to do more combination style outfits than just plain and simple "I feel preppy. Let's do a blazer and topsiders". Or "I feel romantic. Let's wear lace skirts and ballet flats." I really love J. Crew catalogs' knack for nailing the combination of soft and girly with preppy, as those are two of my favorite styles. And I don't think it's one of those overdone combinations like "edgy and girly" or something. Hoping to keep posts back up! It is definitely hard to do a high school sport and keep up a fashion blog but hey, I try to show my passion for what I love.

P.S. Euginia Kim for Target launches tomorrow :). And today (the 17th) was my one year anniversary with my boyfriend...that's a crazy story for another post though.
